The entire destination of Perpignan-Méditerranée is labelled Vignobles et Découvertes with its tourist and wine-making vocation, proposing multiple and complementary wine-related activities.

City side, historic Perpignan, the “capital of the Majorca Kings” simultaneously has the French labels of Ville d’Art et d’Histoire and Patrimoine du XXème siècle for its remarkable promotion of quality, sizeable and diverse architectural heritage.

With its combination of land, sea and cities, the entire destination has earned the regional classification of Grand Site Occitanie attributed to the major tourist sites in the region.

The label Accueil Vélo was created to give a sole, simple and understandable name for all regions which provide tourist bicycle paths. . It allows people to easily identify any places or sites which are bicycle-friendly.

The certification of Ports Propres was created in France but today is applied to all European marinas, called “Clean Harbour”.It stems from a voluntary approach on behalf of marina port operators who are increasingly aware of the importance of being more environmentally oriented and who adopt concrete engagements to ensure cleaner water and sustainable development of coastal and sea activities.
